The Bow River is a river in the Canadian province of Alberta, and it flows eastward to the city of Calgary. In addition, it has a total lenght of 587 km and a drainage area of 26,200 km2.
El Bow es un río canadiense de la provincia de Alberta, el cual atraviesa la ciudad de Calgary. Tiene una longitud total de 587 km y un area de drenaje de 26.200 km2.

This river is called "Bow" because the local First Nations peoples used the reeds that grew along its banks to make bows.
